Ways to Volunteer
Join a Committee
Our committees are where ideas become action. From program planning to advocacy and operations, members play a hands-on role in moving our mission forward. These specialized, mission-focused workgroups research issues, provide expertise, and make recommendations to the Board of Directors to increase efficiency.
Help Out at Events
Help us create welcoming, well-run events for the community from setup to cleanup. See an event you’d like to support? Simply register for it and let us know how you’d like to help in the signup form.
Attend a Volunteer Work Day
Volunteering opportunities are offered throughout the growing season for maintaining:
- Garden plots for food donations
- Watertown-Cambridge Greenway
- Public pollinator gardens
Most volunteer opportunities are flexible and open to all skill levels. We provide tools, guidance, and a welcoming environment. You can join for a single work day or get more involved over time. Our upcoming volunteer work days are listed below.
